Released collectively through Mutual Scum (heavenly creature, gold mold, makethatatake, struggletown, toad stool and sunken sofa).

Simultaneously youthful and nostalgic, these two bands from Scotland's fertile emo scene share a wistful taste for the good stuff from the early 2000s, that shouty, scrappy emo that occasionally brims over into chaos.

catslash present two songs filled with honest angst, mathy riffs, and frantic tempo changes - having built a nice wee following in their native Glasgow and beyond, they deliver on a promise of great recordings and leave us all waiting for more.

Knives Chau Fan Club take an approach that meanders through melody, before plunging into dramatic shifts of pitch and weight that call to mind metalcore's finest with the refinement of some of the midwestern greats. Their hometown of Dundee is a hotbed of fantastic DIY punk thanks to the peerless makethatatake records and their home in Rad Apples/Conroys Basement.
